AFAA Youth Group (AYG) is a group under Austin Filipino-American Association, Inc. (AFAA). It was founded in January 2018 By AFAA Pres. LM Felicito Guiyab and Dr. Hanzy F. Bustamante with the aim of enriching the community experience of the Filipino-American youth in Austin. The AYG aims to guide young people on various relevant topics such as career choice, college admissions, higher education funding, self-improvement, and community services. Senior high school students are also awarded community service hours to complement their college application. These community service hours can enhance student's extra-curricular activities, leadership experience and improve their chances of getting into the college of their choice.
